Divorcing a Real Witch
Nonfiction.
Summary:
A common marriage vow among Wiccans uses the phrase "So long as our love shall last." This phrase acknowledges that any commitment may call at some time for a parting of ways. Wiccans even offer a ceremony to support this passage, called handparting.
Divorcing a Real Witch adds an element of spiritual support to divorcing couples where a partner may be neopagan. This collection of anecdotes, ritual templates and spells lays a foundation for a divorcing Wiccan to prepare for the destruction and renewal that results from this rite of passage.
I am currently taking surveys of those who have experienced divorce. If you have experienced divorce and identify as neopagan, please participate in the intensive survey: http://survey.dianarajchel.com.
My Zombie Apocalypse
Fiction.
Summary:
In 2007, someone declared June 13th "Blog Like It's the End of the World" day, and hundreds of fiction-driven bloggers indeed blogged as such. This collects the three years of story posted on my blogs, along with added transitional material and a conclusion not posted online.
Set in Minneapolis, I am unwillingly dragged from my home after my boyfriend returns from work infected. From Vatican connections to the Wabasha caves, I run through Minneapolis in a universe where the zombies never leave.
